Overview:

Leadership Conway is a 10-month program created to provide existing and emerging leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge and network. Since its inception, the program has helped participants better understand how the community works, build relationships with the area’s current and future leaders, and to focus talents in a way that will best serve the community. The program involves approximately 25 community members that meet once a month at various businesses and organizations throughout the Conway area.

Commitment and Expectations:

Participants are expected to attend all sessions to graduate. Missing more than one session is not permitted. Additionally, participants must engage in enrichment activities and contribute to a class project.

Participating in Leadership Conway was an incredible experience that allowed me to strengthen my leadership skills and deepen my knowledge of Conway and its importance to our area. Through the program, we gained insights into the various inner workings of the city and had the opportunity to impact local charities through our group project. Leadership Conway not only strengthened my connection to our community but also introduced me to 30 other like-minded professionals committed to making a difference.

I had the privilege of being in the Leadership Conway Program for the 2022-2023 year. Through this program, I was able to learn more about our local businesses and nonprofits as well as work with leaders among our community. We raised awareness of programs that assist Conway and were able to give back to a nonprofit through our fundraising efforts. I was able to build my leadership skills through multiple encounters with professionals who shared their knowledge and experience with our group. I highly recommend this program.
