The Conway Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization representing more than 560 business and nonprofit investors.
The Chamber and its Members join for the purpose of promoting the civic and economic progress of our community.
Economic success and quality of life is directly impacted by the work performance of the Chamber.
MISSION
Our mission is to support local businesses and enhance the quality of life for our citizens. The Conway Chamber of Commerce works assertively towards positive economic growth, promotion of tourism, development of transportation and excellence in education in Conway and throughout Horry County.
PURPOSE
A better community means better business conditions and the Chamber works towards this goal to benefit everyone.
The one reason the Conway Chamber exists is to do whatever is necessary to keep the economic condition of our area at a level where business owners will risk their resources in hopes of making a profit in this community. Everything else is just frosting on the cake – simply a means to the end.
HISTORY
The Conway Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1958 and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
LEADERSHIP
Chamber staff consists of two full-time positions with the Executive Vice President serving as Chief Executive Officer.
