Waccamaw River

Conway’s oldest thoroughfare is the deep, rich, black water of the beautiful Waccamaw River. Winding through the heart of Conway giving passage into the history of tobacco and turpentine shipments, the river provides fisherman, duck hunters and water enthusiasts with Cypress knee-lined waters year round. Take a river boat tour aboard the “River Memories” with Capt. Jim’s (843-246-1495) or rent a pontoon from Waccamaw River Rentals, LLC (843-504-1012) to relax the day away on the water.

Along the riverfront, you can enjoy taking a stroll on the Riverwalk or visit Riverfront Park at the Conway Marina.
