Local Advertising Company Gives Back To The Community Through Innovative Advertising Opportunity

Screen Media Source, a new local advertising company has found a way to give back to the community by linking advertiser dollars to selected non-profit organizations. Through a cooperative marketing and fundraising effort on behalf of five area non-profit organizations with a goal to assist eight, Screen Media Source is offering companies a chance to advertise on 20” high definition LCD television monitors atop gas pumps.

Unlike most advertising opportunities meant to promote only the business paying for the advertisement, this investment gives the advertiser the opportunity to support community programs, essential to our area’s quality of life.

“We feel that giving back to the community is a very important part of operating a business. Without the support of the community, a business will fail. We want to show our support of the local non-profits and give others a way to give back as well, all while promoting their own individual businesses,” said Russell Floyd, CEO of Screen Media Source. “Our state of the art screens show short advertisements for local businesses, and we give part of the cost of their advertisements to a total of eight local non-profit organizations. That way, they are able to benefit both themselves and the community. When others see that a business is using our media to advertise, they will know more about the business itself, and that it is a business that wants to helps others.”

Screen Media Source is now running advertisements at two local gas stations and is in the process of installing a third. The advertisements themselves are video/audio commercials and air for 15 seconds at a time. Each gas pump has two screens and can run up to 80 individual commercials.

Screen Media Source’s sponsored non-profit partners include National Amber Alert, National Center For Missing and Exploited Children, Grand Strand Humane Society, The Make A Wish Foundation, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
