Conway City of Character's Collaborative Effort Offers Educational Resources and Promotes Business Involvement
Sponsorship Opportunities Available For Conway Character Initiative’s First “Character Builders” Booklet To Be Distributed Throughout Horry County
The City of Conway Character Initiative is now offering sponsorship opportunities in support of a “Character Builders” booklet, an educational resource to be distributed throughout Conway and its surrounding communities. A minimum of 20,000 copies is being printed, all offering the Character First curriculum and 16 pages dedicated to the character traits of each month. Two levels of sponsorship are available for area businesses, each offering specialized recognition and marketing benefits.
“Character Builders booklets are excellent resource tools for our steering committee, as well as the community,” said Scott Gallimore, Executive Director for Conway City of Character. “Not only do they serve as an educational resource, but also promote the importance of the business community’s involvement. Good character is not just required at home, but demanded in the workplace. By encouraging our businesses to practice good character traits, we encourage a better quality of life for those who live, work and play here.”
Seven gold level sponsorships are available, offering the prominent display of a business’ logo on the front cover of the Character Builders booklet. Additionally, the sponsors are provided with 700 booklets, as well as recognition during the Conway City of Character Statewide Conference and Awards Dinner to be held in October. Gold sponsorships are available for $2,500.
Fifteen silver sponsorships are available, offering the prominent display of a business’ logo on the back cover of the booklet. Sponsors are provided with 200 copies each, as well as recognition during the statewide conference. Silver sponsorships are available for $950.
Sponsorship deadline is November 30, 2007. Forms are available at the Conway City of Character office located at 314 Main Street.
