THE PEANUT WAREHOUSE IN DOWNTOWN CONWAY TO REOPEN SPRING 2016 Conway, SC-

The Peanut Warehouse of Conway is now being managed and operated by Scott Thompson of Thompson Farm and Nursery. The long term lease was signed with the Burroughs Company, who built the warehouse in 1900. This venue was originally built for peanut and fertilizer storage which later became a tobacco warehouse. The building was most recently used for weddings and special events prior to its closing in March 2014. Renovations are currently being administered to restore the historic building and is scheduled to be reopened in early March of 2016. The Peanut Warehouse of Conway will be available to rent for weddings, receptions, special events, corporate events, in addition to hosting potential monthly Bluegrass Festivals and future Political Stump Meetings. The Peanut Warehouse of Conway is a sister venue to the well-known Bucksville Hall venue located at Thompson Farm in Conway.
