Especially Patti Vasquez. When she spoke of her six year old having special needs and that he was missing a small part of his brain. The corpus colosum, I could relate to her right away. Our son had the same condition. Our son could not speak either, nor could he hear. We dealt with the same hardships that Patti talked about. She made me laugh when she would tell people who got in her no fly zone. I know how she feels, I have been there. Patti and her husband are not alone. There are others out here who are going through what they are going through. We had good days and bad days. We learned to take life a day at a time. My heart goes out to Patti. Hang in there.
