Chamber Currents

HAVE YOU BEEN FLOCKED BY THE FLAMINGO WRANGLERS?

Today ends our 10-day long pink flamingo fundraiser. What fun we’ve had creeping around town to “flock” various Conway Chamber members. You may have noticed our flocks of pink flamingos on various lawns throughout Conway.

Starting on the eve of Halloween, Conway Chamber of Commerce members were given the opportunity to flock fellow chamber members in appreciation of their support of our community and to raise money for marching band sponsorships during our upcoming Christmas parade.

Several folks called to learn how they, too, could get “flocked.” Our most requested flocking was that of John Cassidy of Duplicates Ink. Everyone wanted to flock John! It was all done in good spirits, and to our credit, we allowed him to be flocked only once. So, John, you a very, very lucky individual!

We welcome you to take a look around our photo gallery on our website www.conwayscchamber.com. We posted photos and kept our list updated daily. Those striking pink flamingos grabbed several of our businesses a lot of attention. A few asked if the flock could stay a day or two longer. Thank you all for your good sense of humor!

A round of applause goes out to those of you who were flocked. Thank you again for supporting our cause!
