Weight Loss Surgery Support Group
The Weight Loss Surgery Support Group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This support group is for those individuals who have had gastric bypass or lap band surgery or for those considering the surgery. Post-surgical support helps produce the greatest level of success for patients who have had the surgery.
The January meeting will be held at the Food Lion on the corner of Highway 501 and Singleton Ridge Road. The meeting will focus on how to go shopping after bariatric surgery; putting a grocery list together, reading labels and understanding how to create healthy meals not just for yourself, but the entire family. Three groups will meet between 4:30pm and 8:00pm and reservations are required. Participants are asked to register by noon on Tuesday, January 19th by calling 347-8108.
